Most photographers don’t need better gear, they need better taste
This is the part I strongly disagree with. The difference is keeper rate and expectations. With a modern higher end mirrorless like Sony a7v Nikon Z6III or something, even a beginner can get like a 40% keeper rate, and a moderately skilled amateur can get into like 70% rate. But if you're shooting a

What is the best wedding camera in 2026 if price doesn’t matter?
Not including a Sony option in this is ridiculous. An A7V, A1II, or A9III all could be argued are top of the list. I would argue that the A9III honestly is capable of things for weddings that no other body even is. With a true global shutter and crazy sync speeds it can do things you simply can't ac

S1Mii body drop to $2356 during the june Promotional Campaign-but still to expensive compare to its competitors
Genuinely confused as to how you could get this so wrong. The S1II and the A7V are the same price currently in the US ($2899), The R6 III is $100 cheaper, Nikon Z8 starts at $3100 used on MPB, and the A1 starts at $3400 used. At $2356, the S1ii a DEAL. Let's break this down: - Photography: all the b

Got the X2D II & 20-35E! Need Suggestions!!!
People are just frustrated because you made your life difficult by buying something without knowledge. If you bought say a Sony A7V you’d get effortless tracking of subjects and sharp photos. It’s like buying a Ferrari and asking people how to tow a boat. I’m sure it can but if you asked before hand

Looking left to Full frame & Looking right to M43 for wildlife
I would go with a stacked sensor for wildlife. Blackout free shooting is a game changer. I purchased the OM-1ii on the a7v release date as a Sony shooter for wildlife and have no regrets. For Nikon you either get the Z8, or nothing.

For VIDEO, how does the s1ii stack up against the newly released sony A7 V? What about the r6 mk iii or the z6 iii?
I'm definitely not as knowledgeable as many others in this sub for video, but to answer some of your questions: Shutter angle: Yes, Lumix offers this setting, I believe since the S1H at minimum. IBIS: it's not even close in video. In photography, I'd say there is at most a small gap, but video is no

Anyone using a a7V for a B camera?
No, but I'm using it as an A camera and FX3 as a B camera now. A7v is better in nearly every way except the fan but I've shot hours long interviews and live shows with the a7v and never had any heat warning. The only other thing is the fx3 has cineEI and shutter angle. CineEI is easily replicated wi

FX3 or A7V as someone transitioning from photos to video
Honestly the X-H2S is a great camera and in some ways has a better image/video specs than either Sony (open gate, 6K, ProRes or high data rate H265, great color). The biggest improvement you’ll notice is autofocus (Fuji AF is terrible) but the lenses are bigger and more expensive. If you do get a So

FX3 or R6V
If you do want to shoot Sony and need to buy something now I'd get an A7V. More detailed image, better AF, better screen, better stabilization than FX3 for under $3000
