Debating whether to stay with MFT
Ok, this will be an unpopular comment here. Over the years I had an obscene number of m43 bodies and lenses. Currently I own an OM-3. As it stands, my only use case for it, is sports, paired with the wonderful 40-150mm F2.8.I also have a Sony A7CII, and while that camera doesn't have the pretentious

What do we think of rumored Z9ii specs?
I think you’ve never used Sony AF. It doesn’t behave as you say, it literally predicts where you want to focus, it doesn’t switch it over to the persons ear. I have a Sony A7C II and a Nikon ZF. The Nikon is very good at AF (especially compared to something like my Fujifilm X-T50), but the Sony is m

Unflaterring Skin Tones (particularly on yellow skin people)?
Second this. Own A7CII and used a Fuji for a couple of days. Like the colors of the film recipes from Fuji but found it extreme unintuitive to use the Fuji and the AF on Sony far superior and also the lens options are really nice because you’ve got a lot of options. For me the more intuitive use and

LUMIX S9 vs Sony A7C2 vs Fuji XT50
Sony A7cII is my choice of the 3 for what you are looking for. Fuji autofocus is not good. So not good I sold all my Fuji gear because with each update it got worse. My experience. Lumix doesn't have an electronic shutter, no hot shoe, and no evf (I don't care about this really but the other 2 optio

Upgraded from my trusty D3400 to a Z6 II and wow, what a difference
i moved from a nikon d90 to a sony a7c ii, the difference is massive, i finally don't have to take pictures of moving objects while focusing manually (i love my d90 but holy shit the autofocus is atrocious)

Moving from Fuji to Lumix (S5 vs S9) for toddler photos & vlogging?
I used both and now have sony a7cii + lumix s9 Do you do pro videography? If not, 8 bit is more than fine and I'd tell you to go for the a7c The s5 is a major downgrade in AF, the s9 AF is still worse than the sony (but good overall) but the build quality feels super cheap and then as you said, no e

Is this the right time to buy a m43 system?
Copy/Pasting from my Apple Notes as this subject comes up so often. Suffice to say that most Full Frame posters are parroting others and most of those others are parroting and coming to a conclusion from specs seen on a website somewhere. The vast majority have never used M43. I use Sony FF (A7r5 &

The GRIV already does great BW, if you are getting a GR Monochrome, tell me why?
Sure if you only shoot BW I guess a monochrome sensor would be better but carrying two cameras just to get one (1!) stop better performance is in my opinion crazy. But I’m coming from shooting a Pentax 67 with Tri-x ( 400 iso) 25 years ago :-) Then I would rather bring my Leica Q1 or a Sony A7C II w

I never used my Phone Camera much before buying the Leitzphone - and i love it
i've used the 17U for a few days, didn't like it. I didn't have the photography kit tho since it was my friend's phone. Your points are fair as well, we just value different things. And yeah, i would love for them to shove the sensor of actual cameras (maybe the one on my a7c ii, just for the memes?

Which Camera should i buy for mainly travelling?
sony a7c ii with the 28-60mm kit lens brand new. it's as compact as a full frame camera will get and the kit lens is a pancake lens so it's tiny. 7 stops of ibis, really good high iso and low light performance, some of the best autofocus on the market, has wireless file transfer (pretty much every c
