Debating whether to stay with MFT
Ok, this will be an unpopular comment here. Over the years I had an obscene number of m43 bodies and lenses. Currently I own an OM-3. As it stands, my only use case for it, is sports, paired with the wonderful 40-150mm F2.8.I also have a Sony A7CII, and while that camera doesn't have the pretentious

X100vi worth the upgrade from the x100v?
I have both the a7c2 and an x100vi and used to own a x100v. I find the difference between the x100’s to be minimal but meaningful. IBIS has changed the kind of shots I’m able to take. That said, the a7c2 is a phenomenal compact camera, and I would advise you to keep the x100v and upgrade your Sony.

Camera Recommendation for High Altitude
I largely agree, with two bits of food for thought. First, for the A7CII, I have the HMG camera pod. It takes some tweaking to attach it to various backpacks, but I find this way better than strapping the camera to a shoulder strap out in the open. It provides padding and weather protection, and is

Heavily leaning towards an FX2 right now. Bad idea?
So as someone who’s owned the A7iii, A7iv & Fx30; as well as I currently own the A7S iii, Fx3 & I just picked up the Fx2 I would say the Fx2 is a really good starter. It’s essentially an A7iv or A7C ii in a cinema line body. Truthfully I don’t shoot 4k 120 often and I do a lot of commercial and docu

Unflaterring Skin Tones (particularly on yellow skin people)?
Second this. Own A7CII and used a Fuji for a couple of days. Like the colors of the film recipes from Fuji but found it extreme unintuitive to use the Fuji and the AF on Sony far superior and also the lens options are really nice because you’ve got a lot of options. For me the more intuitive use and

LUMIX S9 vs Sony A7C2 vs Fuji XT50
Sony A7cII is my choice of the 3 for what you are looking for. Fuji autofocus is not good. So not good I sold all my Fuji gear because with each update it got worse. My experience. Lumix doesn't have an electronic shutter, no hot shoe, and no evf (I don't care about this really but the other 2 optio

This week's walk. Tried some street photography
Thanks a lot! These are all shot with Sigma 28-70 f/2.8 on a Sony A7C II. I absolutely love that setup

Should I consider buying a camera?
Yes.For a one and done roughly in your budget, with your needs in mind, but still with the ability to grow consider a Sony a7Cii with a FE 24mm f/2.8 G Lens (more lenses is how you could expand later). Super capable, and compact for travel.

Debating whether to stay with MFT
Personally I like the gripless design and the aesthetic of the EM5/OM5 series with silver top. The EM1 does raise the question of why not move to a bigger sensor system. Nikon Z Fc doesn't have IBIS. Nikon Z F looks great to me, but it's a question of price really. Camerasize dot com is a good way t

Which is better for tourism, compact camera or action cam?
A simple mirrorless should be your choice. Canon R50 with the kit lens is okay. Fuji xm5 Sony ZV-E10 Mark II Yan yung mga magkakasame category that's way cheaper than RX How to choose? Canon R50- clean finish out of the camera. I'd say a balance look SOOC. The colors are best for daylight, blue skie
