Did you upgrade from M10 to M11?
I had m10r, and then upgraded to m11m. call me crazy, but I liked bw output and high iso from m10r much more. I had some short experience with sony a7cr, and files from m11m looked somewhat similar, the same harsh iso noise. Now I’m in the process of going back to m10r. I really liked better battery

My new street photography gear
I had the A7Cii and now have the A7CR. I moved over from Nikon Z6 for the autofocus and resolution. I tried the ZF first and didn’t like the ergonomics. The Sony is not as infallible on autofocus as the hype would have you believe but the compact size is great. I miss the Nikon’s feel in the hand an

Q3 purchasing conundrum
Glad I saw this. Been shooting Sony forever. Ended with the A7cr and a bunch of lenses. For some reason I just didn’t click. The menu system just sucks. Even after having Sony for over a decade. It just does. It’s so complex and not that enjoyable. Decided to try out Q3 43. Been a month now. Let’s j

Return of the mac
Way too fast on the Sony. If you aren’t shooting in perfect conditions, you start picking up noise quickly. Moderate ISOs increase it quickly. I sold mine after a few months. The S9 is a beast and outperforms the A7CR across the board.

Is this what it means to own a Leica M? — Leica M11 + Thypoch Simera 50mm f/1.4
What a rodeo! Just gotta love how this hobby takes us for a ride. And the grass is always greener on the other side! I think the M’s MF makes it all the more addictive because the feeling of nailing focus is just *chefs kiss. Sometimes have that feel of “I nailed it? In that lighting? Fuyoh!” Hahaha

Is this what it means to own a Leica M? — Leica M11 + Thypoch Simera 50mm f/1.4
I definitely cut my teeth on photography with Fujifilm. I had a Canon M6 II to begin with in 2019, but got caught by the X100V hype in March 2020 and fell in love with it. I captured a lot of life with that camera, which convinced me to sell the Canon for the XH2S (my main side gig is actually filmm

I just sold all my Sony equipment for LUMIX. Best decision I have made.
I have S9 and A7CR. I am really not seeing any point of this. You are just arguing now you can apply LUTs and is "WAY Better" because you don't need to do as much post work. granted! that's a plus... but that you are also assuming no one else knows how to use LUTs on a sony footage. which is like..

Sony ZV-E1 or FX3 is the video quality actually the same?
Personally i love the look of the 12 megapixel sensor fx3 footage looks super soft but clean. That and the dual native iso is the main reason i wanna go with it the sony a7cr with 61 megapixel would be to sharp for my, and honestly i just want a fx3ii eventually but they are taking so freaking long

MP vs M7 vs M10-R vs M10-P — debating Leica Ms to celebrate first child and milestone birthday
I actually considered a Sony A7CII/A7CR at first. But checked one out in store and really didn’t like it. I’m also not a fan of EVFs, and the ones on those are particularly underwhelming. That said, Sony autofocus and the video capability are still tempting, so I haven’t 100% ruled it out. Funny, I

Q3 43 vs Fuji X100VI
I Don’t have the Fuji. But recently got the Q3 43 after decades of Sony. My A7cr and all its lenses are collecting dust. It’s like all my years of photography led to the Leica. I do side by side comparison with my A7cr all the time and it isn’t even close. I can’t imagine the Fuji is even in the sam
