My new street photography gear
I had the A7Cii and now have the A7CR. I moved over from Nikon Z6 for the autofocus and resolution. I tried the ZF first and didn’t like the ergonomics. The Sony is not as infallible on autofocus as the hype would have you believe but the compact size is great. I miss the Nikon’s feel in the hand an

What made you choose the GR over everything else? And do you still feel the same way?
The GR cameras are the most fun to me. I can't have one that's just "the one." It serves a specific purpose. The image quality holds up to my other cameras and it fits in my pocket, so it just ends up going places other cameras don't. But it doesn't replace my others, really. I also have: Ricoh GR I

Is this what it means to own a Leica M? — Leica M11 + Thypoch Simera 50mm f/1.4
I definitely cut my teeth on photography with Fujifilm. I had a Canon M6 II to begin with in 2019, but got caught by the X100V hype in March 2020 and fell in love with it. I captured a lot of life with that camera, which convinced me to sell the Canon for the XH2S (my main side gig is actually filmm

The m43 sensor isn't that small
I do a lot of shutter drag for cycling while riding and the OM5 mark Ii is a dream. The Sony a7cr is a big chungus and I definitely have a better time getting the desired images off the om5

Is it worth it to get a GR iiix as a companion camera?
yeah my main is the sony a7cr but even that is too bulky for me. i dread carrying it around to shoot so i got the griiix as a pocket camera and tbh i don't even use my sony anymore. i mostly shoot when i hike so doing 80km with a full frame strapped to my backpack isn't that fun.

Is it dumb to replace my S5II for a lighter travel camera?
The feather in Sonys cap for travel cameras is the A7Cr. With that much resolution you can set a fn button to switch to APSC mode effectively making each prime a dual focal length. With two compact primes 24mm 2.8G and 55mm 1.8 Zeiss you get a 24mm, 36mm, 55mm and 82.5. I'm with you on sonys being g

Day Sling 3 & Camera
I have the Day Sling 3 and can fit my Leica M10 with a shorter lens on it just comfortably enough. The A7CR body is overall thicker if you look at this comparison photo, so I think it'd really only work with a pancake lens.
