Canon 1DX series?

I had the 1DX (mark1) and honestly, shopting sports with that brick felt effortless. Most shots were good and usability wise it's the best camera i've had. I moved to Sony a7iii and a7riv which are nice but for sports they're both kinda meh. Sure they produce good images but aren't as effortless to

Thinking of switching to nikon

Yep, I can vouch having used a Sony a7r4 for a while, it was not even close.

My keyboard setup, shot on an $80,000 camera!

This was indeed shot on the ARRI Alexa 35. I shot open gate (as you said, 4.6K at 24fps), but it was shot on ProRes 4444 XQ which is a significantly less data consuming file format than ARRIRAW. Yes, the Sony A7R4 is exponentially cheaper and shoots still frames that are 4x the resolution of the ARR

Why are these photos blurry?

They look fine to me with the resolution you provide. Tamron 70-300 is at best considered good in sharpness for a Sony A7R4.

In your experience, what are the most reliable mirrorless cameras your photographers have used on set?

New mirrorless models are much better at handling LED flicker, compared to say the older Sony A7R IV

These guys left Sony and explain why.. in their LUMIX S1II & S1RII - LONG TERM REVIEW

Just left Sony for a S1Rii. I’m strictly a photographer. I started with Sony 10 years ago with a Walmart bought Sony. Then A6300 > A7riii>A7r4>A7CR. To me the pics out the camera on the Sony were too clinical had no Soul. Even using picture profiles. I’m blown away by the LUMIX. Sold all my Sony gea

Got the Megadap ETZ21 Pro+

I just did some testing with some of my wider-angle E lenses on my Z7 II and A7R IV, so while I don't have the 20mm 1.8 G, I do have the Voigtlander 15mm f4.5, FE 28mm f2, and 35mm 1.4 ZA, and testing all 3 on the Z7 II yielded no strange results where the corners turned to unusable mush (wide open

Help me decide between Z5II and Z6III please

The Z5ii was not my pick for wedding photography. I mostly left the industry a few years ago, so the camera / lens set I have now (Z5ii / ZFc / Z30 / 24mm F1.8 / 50mm F1.4 / 85mm F1.4 / 16-30mm F2.8 / 24-120mm F4 / 70-300 F4.5-6.3) is mainly for my own projects (videography and photography). I shot

Seeking lense advice

I have the A7Riv, and the Sony 90mm macro lens. Even with the extra MP mine has, you still won’t get photos this detailed from my experience. You will need extra magnification and would want to use a photo stacking software post processing to get to something like this. I LOVE macro, and that is why

I sold my Nikon Zf kit… and accidentally built a 2016 Fuji time machine

I left my Sony A7R IV bodies for a GFX 50s II and Canon 1Dx. I fell in love with my photography all over again
