under 250 theres a few routes you can go depending on whether you want open back for better gaming audio or closed back to avoid mic bleed. open back options like beyerdynamic dt 900 pro x and sennheiser hd560s are really good for fps footsteps and wide soundstage. both run fine without an amp but y

Nova pro or astro a50 gen 5?
I have the arctis nova pro wireless for PC and PS5. It has two usb ports on the back of the hub. So it can auto switch between the two whilst also bluetooth to your phone. Best headset I ever had and I've had plenty. I swore years ago after being bitten like 4 times I'd never buy astro products agai

Drop your headset, I’ll help you footsteps:
Arctis Nova Pro (wired). I use Dolby ATMOS for Headphones and have the in-game audio set to Spatial Surround. It’s pretty good I find. Edit: Based on some of OP's suggestions, specifically the 'Sound Output' in Warzone not being set to 'Spatial Surround', here's what I ended up doing. I did use the

Astro a50 gen 5 or arctis nova pro
For seamless convenience of switching back and forth between Xbox and PC, then the Astro would win out a bit because the charging base station can plug into both platforms simultaneously with two separate USB ports. Also, if it matters any, the A50’s microphone is insanely better than the Arctis Nov

I analyzed Reddit for the 25 most recommended gaming headsets for FPS (Nov 2024–2025)
Anyone thinking of picking up the Arctis Nova Pro: great headset when it works. Sometimes it doesn't want to connect no matter how hard you try. Also, it's uncomfortable as fuck. There are these little nubs inside each ear cup that press into your head. I think they're part of the noise cancelation

Why do you SFF?
Not op but I have sffpc at my desk like normal, so not in a living room. But what I do have is it hooked up to a fiber optic hdmi cord that runs across the room to my home theater setup/living room area. So you don’t necessarily need an sffpc to have living room, couch gaming—those fiber optics hdmi

Headset recommendations
I purchased an Arctis Nova Pro Wireless a couple years ago on sale. First, the price is really quite high right now at close to $400 for the PC version of the headset. I did not buy it at the price, and I would only buy it on sale and if you’d be willing to pay that much for a device. There are vers

What's everyone using for headsets
Arctis Nova Pro Wireless. It’s by far the best headset I’ve ever used and I can’t go back to anything else. Sound quality, features, comfort.. it’s amazing at everything. I previously used the official Xbox Wireless Headset. It was pretty nice and I really liked being able to be connected to 2 devic

Arctis Nova Pro Wireless vs Arctis Nova Pro Omni
The intention of the review was to go over the differences between the Pro & Omni that are either not advertised or other reviewers aren't talking about. Just skip to the Conclusion if you're not interested in everything and want a summary of it all. But the tl;dr is: If you want a great headset, go
