Any converts from Suunto here?

So, the OHR is definitely better across all Polar devices, at least prior to Race 2 and Vertical 2. Did a run with a series of strides yesterday: Race connected to H10 on one hand, V3 on the other using its OHR. V3 matched Race beat-for-beat, and that's pretty much has been my experience over the ye...

NSN for smart watch or fitbit

There are none with an NSN to the best of my knowledge. GPC route will be the way to go. Good luck on getting funding for it though in a shut down. I'd recommend going with something that is on the NSA approved PED list in the event your CC and Security Manager want to go the route of approving them...

Buyer beware, you're in for [poor customer service]!

I have had good customer support with Suunto in the past, including watch repair for my Observer, firmware support with my Ambit3 Peak, and reporting/fixing bugs with both my 9 Baro and my Race S. Customer support is available via other methods than Instagram. Online chat via your web browser. Email...

Suunto joins Strava in filing lawsuit against Garmin

They've been around a while and are in direct competition with Garmin. I used to have an Ambit Peak 3 and at the time it was known for having much better accuracy than other watches. I have a Fenix 6X Pro now but Suunto is definitely in consideration for my next watch with Garmin's crazy high prices...

Suunto VS Corox vs Garmin

I've got the Suunto Peak 9 from 5 years ago. It's tough as hell, I've really battered it (literally in some cases) and it hasn't got a scratch on it. The battery life was incredible, and it's degraded a bit but is still pretty good. It doesn't have map navigation on it, but you can follow a trace th...

Ultralight Hunting Shakedown (24.72 lb base weight)

- Gear Skeptic on YT has done extremely detailed reviews on stoves, pots, and boil times. I can stretch a 110g fuel container for almost 7 days going solo and two 300ml boils a day, one for coffee and one for a hot dinner. (Cold soaked lunches). The BRS stove recommendation earlier is good. There is...

Coros Nomad : Update V3. 1208.0 Since the last update, the negative elevation readings are incorrect, the positive remains correct. am I the only one?

So far the readings were correct, I cross-referenced my data with my 965 and it was pretty good... But since the last update ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ!!! I would not go back to Garmin again with their prices which are beyond belief. I would probably come back to Suunto if I had to choose, (I still have the Ambit 3 Peak...

Suunto Run, is it better than Garmin 165 or Coros Pace 3?

Suunto Run user ako. Ask me any questions about the watch. Natry ko na din 165 and Pace 3. For me yung totoong magrivals in my opinion is Suunto Run vs Pace 4. Sila talaga yung magkamatch kaysa sa Pace 3. Garmin 165: more basic for me yung running metrics niya, UI is not that neat and detailed compa...
