Garmin User Looking To Switch
Run might be good, but you must be aware of the limitations, as it has a different (version) of the OS and therefore different features. Like no SuuntoPlus... Race S on the other hand has the full feature set minus those that are exclusive to the Race 2 and Vertical 2.

Is it still worth purchasing Gritx 2 pro at good price?
Depends on what your good price is. In terms of features, it’s similar to that of Suunto Race 2 but its pricing is just too out .

Suunto latest update: multi data fields on map + contour lines + POIs (some thoughts)
I don’t think this is meant to be limited to Vertical / Race 2. Suunto didn’t clearly say these features are model-exclusive, so Race 1 should at least support them in theory. What you’re seeing sounds more like: contour lines without elevation labels POIs not showing Feels more like a rollout or ma
