I agree with the enshittification. My RT6600ax covers less area than the RT2600ac it replaced. So a bit disappointed. That and the removal of features has me considering leaving the platform. My home experience led directly to my using them for my business use. We used to look for new vendors when t

Thanks! I’m experimenting with different routers to find which is best with the Portal app. Apple AirPort Extreme (Wi-Fi 5), Channel 44. Works okay, no shuddering, but very low latency and possibly low FPS. ZTE Model:MC801A (Wi-Fi 6). Channel 149. Horrible, unusable. Same issues as Airport but glitc

You might need to set up a static route on your router. This tells it that there are multiple IPs on the same NIC so it knows how to route traffic accordingly. I had to do this on my Synology rt6600ax to get my piVPN and unRAID Wireguard connections to work properly.

Yes, I have the RT6600AX, and I’m meshing with an RT 2600AC. They’re excellent routers, I really do like them, they’re a little long in the tooth now but the software is excellent for an IT guy like me who wants a lot of control. For most of my clients I recommend and install Eero, but I have a few

Yes, there is, but a wireless bridge is going to be worse than just buying a second RT6600ax. Alternatively, if you're not concerned about performance, consider a MR2200ac.

For a couple years my RT6600AX has been pretty decent but in recent updates I’ve started having more and more problems. First it was the router having memory issues. Support identified the issue and said I need to do a complete reset and setup as new to resolve. Since then I’ve had issues with setti

I just put together a mesh system for a small office. I went with synology, rt6600ax and wrx560 . It went shockingly smoothly. Management interface is super user friendly. created 3 vlans with seperate wifi.got signal appropriately strong everywhere now. A tenants vlan, a guest vlan, and an internal

I have a synology rt6600ax. I haven’t had any problems with it. I figure most people could go with something considerably cheaper, but I’m a rather heavy user, so I splashed out a bit. The funny thing is, unless you go super high end, your router is going to be the choke point of your network, becau

Connect your PS5 with Ethernet, change your router channel as the app suggests. Still bad? Your router is it not good then. Try disabling AirPlay, Location, Continuity, AirDrop. It helped me. Test with a better router. I have ordered Synology RT6600AX.
