SA6400

I went for the SA6400 with a new computer build with an i5-13500 and it's running great. I've got Proxmox on top and Synology DSM in a VM with latest Arc Loader beta and no issues so far.

Updated the Synology model to SA6400 and everything works beautifully, including read/write caching. Wish I had looked into this much sooner - the full functionality of Synology DSM on the hardware of the Ugreen Nas is just awesome.

Where is the synology OS installed actually? Is it on the usb drive similar to unraid? *** DSM is installed on a separate dedicated partition of every HDD that is part of a RAID volume in your system. Choose SA6400 since it's based on the most recent kernel. And IMHO it will be best to install it baremetal or in Proxmox or similar.
