I’ve got this, and got my gf the DXP2800. The DXP4800 Plus is solid. It looks great, performs well. I originally got it with the plan to run Unraid but the UGREEN software has been fine for what I’m doing, so stuck with it. Even the UGREEN mobile app is good.

Well this will blow your mind but I had Synology devices for around 12 years up until I (finally) got a DS224+ about 18 months ago. Around Feburary this year I actually made the jump to Ugreen and bought a DXP2800 twin bay. Everything was set up and running fine until around June when I realised I w

After extensive research, I decided to go with the DXP2800 and set it up over the weekend. I’m happy with the overall purchase. I definitely like the UI, it was easy to create shared folders and enable NFS. I also set up Pi-hole as a Docker container. I haven’t enabled UGreenLink for now, just plann

Hi, since we're close to Black Friday, I'm considering buying a NAS. I was checking around and the DXP2800 sounds like a good compromise between price and quality. Realistically, I don't need that much space, so 2 HDD slots + 2 SSD slots is going to be more than fine. I'll probably start with 1 8TB

A NAS is a Network Attached Storage. It's basically an energy-efficient computer specialized in storing data that you keep running 24/7. Example: https://nas-eu.ugreen.com/products/ugreen-nasync-dxp4800-plus-nas-storage You stil need to buy a bunch of harddrives. (the "ARRAY" he referred to) For me,

Honestly you could probably ditch the mini PC and run your Plex server on the ugreen. The N100 is perfectly capable of what you're asking. Source : I do the exact same with my DXP2800. most streams I've had so far have been 8. Could direct stream a ton more.

The N100 is sufficient. I run immich on Ugreen DXP2800, on a N100 cpu. An SSD is recommended to host the containers and database data. It's okay to host the photo and video files on HDD.

I was due for a new 2-bay home NAS. Ordered a pair of Seagate 18TBs Ironwolf Pros and a Synology DS224+.This was my first Synology product. I'd seen the posts about adding the script and what-not to tamp down the older compatibility warning. I hoped they'd eventually just add my drives to the compat
