I'm distinguishing between the sleeve within the main compartment of the 2DAP and something like the TNF Surge where there's a different zipper and it has depth whether you put a computer in it or not. I found it much harder to use that backpack for odd-shaped stuff, like my lunch.

I have an older version of TNF Surge and I am now looking for a backpack with "ventilation". Padding on the back panel is not became soft on the upper part. Other than that, it is built like a tank. I would buy it again if it had better back panel.
