Ok, so for those where connection starts at 1080p and progressively drops to 360p. IVE TRIED IT ALL.
I had lots of problems with my Portal when using an eero 6 mesh network. Those problems all went away when I switched to a TP-Link Deco BE65 Pro (BE11000) system. I didn’t switch because of the Portal issues, but switching fixed those along with some others. My suspicion is that the eero wireless ba

Backhaul problem
The tech was wrong you aren't missing anything. Backhaul is simply the "spine" that connects your mesh nodes; without a wired (Ethernet) backhaul, your WiFi speeds can cut in half with every "hop." Since you have high-end Deco BE65 Pros, plugging them together via Ethernet will drastically improve y

Theoretically, where does the Portal go from here?
I upgraded my wifi to the TP Link Deco BE65 Duo Pack and it's been working great. It has a huge range and my connection never dropped again. I highly recommend it.

Keeping eero devices after leaving
My Deco BE65 3 pack was £430 but with TP link, you can get 5% off first orders if you're a new customer. They gave 2.5G LAN, WAN, support VPNs, have a decent mobile app, and just work. Might be worth a look.

DECO BE65 - Solved my problems
I have the Deco BE65 pro with 3 units. 1 node is wired, the other relies on wireless. My internet is 2.5gb and I’m getting about 1300Mbps on the wired ones and 300Mbps on the wireless. I’ve had it set up a few weeks now and it is rock solid. It is much more consistent than previous set ups.

Replacement for Nokia 3.1 Router
I got the Deco BE65. I did a ton of research and for my use I found this to be the best. It is a bit pricey but I’ve had no issues thus far and love the features it offers via the app. I also have the gigabit plan and live in a similar unit (2 floor townhome) and I consistently get 500MBPS+ on wifi

Deco BE65 or BE67
I'm running a three BE65 Pro network with over 80 devices and no problems. The Deco blows away the ASUS I had which dropped weekly.

Should I move from the Amplifi Alien to one of the Unifi routers
I had the Amplifi-HD and 4 mesh points for years, but it started to play up a few months ago, needing daily system reboots etc etc. gave up on it and swapped it out for 4 Deco BE65 units. So much better now.

Mesh til hus med to etager
Jeg havde først Deco X10 og var ærligt ikke tilfreds i en lejlighed, men skiftede til Deco BE65 og alt kører bare med super hastighed nu. Vil klart anbefale dem, men de er en del dyrere

TP-Link Deco BE65(3-pack), BE9300, Tri-Band, Wi-Fi 7
Yes! I’ve got a single BE65 as main unit connected to the fiber in my basement, ethernet from basement to an unmanaged PoE switch at my office on high ground floor and PoE to a X50 mounted in the ceiling of my living room and this covers my entire 160m2 old brick house and terrace outside my living
