WiFi doesn't reach kitchen or back garden, rest of house is fine. What's best option?
Have a look at something like the TPLink Deco M5 - I’ve 3 to extend the range of the WiFi throughout the house. Loads of similar options

Best budget option for mesh wifi with dual band.
I'd go with the TP-Link Deco M5 solid budget mesh, dual-band, easy setup. Covers your size home fine. Wi-Fi 6 is nice, but not a must unless you’ve got a lot of newer devices. Deco M5 (Wi-Fi 5) should be enough.

Recomendo

Welke internetprovider geeft mij de beste wifi-dekking in huis?
Ik had dat probleem jaren geleden in mijn vroegere huis. Een setje van drie TPLink Deco M5 mesh routertjes loste dat op.

Is a mesh network still the best way to get string WiFi across a tall house?
You sacrifice bandwidth with each hop. Newer devices will have higher bandwidth radios for wireless backhaul, so the sacrifice takes the same proportion of a bigger pie. But there are a lot of variables you can’t control, including what equipment / set up your neighbours run, that will impact perfor

Gen 3 - Wifi and wired network at the same time?
I've got Gen3 and used both ethernet ports to connect to switches. Also, was using the wifi for a while too, but found it too weak so now use my old Deco M5 Mesh which seems to be holding up fine at the moment.

Mesh Network for Large house thick walls
Upside of living in an old farmhouse: I love those buildings. If it has been there for 100 years, it will probably be there for 100 more (with maintenance, of course)Downside of living in an old farmhouse: Oftentimes the walls are lath & plaster. That stuff EATS wireless signals. It gets even worse

Best option for detached garage
Our outbuilding is roughly 150 feet from the house. It's wired for cable, but we dropped cable a couple of years ago. I was pulling my hair out researching all of the options to get wireless to the building and finally decided I'd try the TP-Link Deco M5 Mesh WiFi System, I was on an xFinity wireles

Best WiFi in the area?
You might look into a Mesh WiFi system to replace your router. I had trouble getting good coverage with a regular router in my place and the mesh setup completely fixed that, even covering my garages well through cinder blocks and metal. I used TP-Link Deco M5 but that was 6 years ago so there might
