New mesh router for home kit recommendations?
People will likely bash me for this recommendation but whatever you do do not do a mesh system, stay far away and especially if you are in close proximity of other houses and especially if in an apartment! You share bandwidth on the connection to use for wireless interconnection taking away from usa

Which mesh compatible router has the best range?
Wifi is very regulated and is designed for relatively short distance. So, there are not going to be devices that have any significant range gains over others. The solid walls are what's causing your poor experience. Also, the picture of your router says that it's in a bad spot. If you can, try and g

Opinions Regarding Express 7
I recently acquired a Dream Router 7 and an Express 7 after trying two different Asus routers (both were extremely unreliable and both were returned). So far, my experience has been extremely positive. It feels like Ubiquiti is the "Apple of networking" in terms of user experience (clean, logical).

Will this networking setup work for my house?
The CGUltra doesn't have any wifi at all. It's purely an Ethernet router (and controller). You connect access points downstream (as discussed above) to provide wifi. If you want a combination wifi AP+router+controller, look into the Dream Router 7. You could have that instead of the CGUltra; the res

Done with TP-Link
Hey OP, I'm sad to hear about this experience. I've been there myself (poor aftersales support from a well-known brand, in this case it was JBL). The Decos are only compatible among themselves for a mesh setup. Meaning, if you replace your unit for another brand, it will work, but not optimally. You

Best WiFi Mesh UK
We have a Deco BE63 system that is fine, but Decos are so hit and miss. I see many people saying that they have great experiences, some say that it's terrible. My dad has issues specifically with his work laptop, as do some of our ring security cameras, everything else is fine. So even on the same s

Help finding new mesh wifi
Ubiquity! I had a Orbi and decided to replace it. I bought a Ubiquity Dream Router 7 and 3 access points. It has been a month now and is working fantastic. 58 devices and a NAS. One of the APs is 100’ from the house in the shop and several devices out there connect to it from almost another 75-100 f

What are some good WiFi 6 routers at the moment?
If you're near a Microcenter, this is going to be the best you can get within that budget: https://www.microcenter.com/product/692536/ubiquiti-unifi-dream-router-7-desktop-10g-cloud-gateway-with-integrated-wifi-7,-poe-switch,-microsd-storage Also, if you have coverage issues, the Dream Router 7 is c

Having mesh wifi forced upon me at my apartment
Not to product promote… Ubiquiti just released a dream router 7 with 5G built in. It may totally be overkill, but if you want a robust home network running on cell service with wireless backup. It’s probably your best bet. I think you can set it to use WiFi and cell as two separate WANs and it’ll ch
