I have micro stutters like in this clip every day in every League of Legends game. I've tried everything (It only happens in League of Legends.)
The ssd that I've had issues on is basically an upgraded version of your ssd, and it still managed to create stutter issues in League. If you never had these stutters in LoL with sn770 in your builds before, then I guess ssd is not the issue in your case, unless you discovered stutters just recently

SSD lost performance after upgrade.
Before buying the SN770 and SN850x, I did compare lots of SSDs and in all specs and of course main decision often comes back to price (at that time). I short listed quite some brands and their models before pulling the trigger on the two above. I noticed that WD doesn’t clearly state the controllers
