Windows 11 KB5086672 rolls out after Microsoft pulls failed March 2026 optional update
I've been having boot loop issues since last weekend. The only thing I can think caused it is the Microsoft update I did earlier that day. The only thing I've found to temporarily give me a usable computer is sfc /scannnow in command prompt when it gives me the recovery options. I fear I'll be spend

You're talking about a drive for storage. If your motherboard will support it, you should get an NVMe SSD. These are much faster than the older drives. The Samsung 970 Evo Plus and the WD SN770 are both good models. If your computer is a little older, you should get a SATA SSD like the Crucial MX500

Swapping out Fusion Drive HDD for SSD
Yes, you can do that. But usually, the SSD part of a (former) fusion drive is way too small for that to make sense (32 to 128GB). These sizes might be enough for the system to run but you have to remember the system needs space for cache and stuff. My suggestion: Would be better you buy an SSD like

2019 iMac is sloooow
If it’s got an actual SSD, then it still should be wicked fast in daily use on Sequoia. I have the exact same spec, down to the RAM and SSD capacity (albeit mine is an aftermarket WD SN770 I installed a couple years back). What you’re describing sounds like a Fusion Drive — mine had one too, and it

Need help choosing ssd
You could return it and get an even faster 2TB NVMe for less: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/7m2j4D/crucial-t710-2-tb-m2-2280-pcie-50-x4-nvme-solid-state-drive-ct2000t710ssd8 But no, you won't really notice a difference between then SN770 and 990 Pro, you'd only notice if you constantly moved a lo

Legion Go can’t find bootable device after 2280 ssd upgrade
It depends on how it was installed. Depending on the adapter, you might have to modify the original backplate a little. If you used a double-sided SSD, there might have been too much pressure on the chips, damaging the BGA solder joint. Furthermore, the adapter might have come loose, or, as mentione

Avis montage PC DIY
C'est quoi que t'as déjà acheté ? CPU/GPU/RAM ? La CM je la trouve trop chère. T'en a des aussi bien sous les 200€ exemple. Le 980 pro est meilleur que le sn770 (dram cache). Y'a déjà de la pâte thermique avec le AIO

Is this a good build
You're paying extra for RAM and SSD. You should buy 32 gigs of DDR5-6000 CL30 RAM for ~$110 and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD (like the WD Black SN770 or similar) for ~$70. You should also change the PSU to a better quality power supply that has 750W or 850W capacity like the Corsair RMx or Seasonic Focus prod

1K budget 1080P PC for a friend
Your list is very solid, nothing is "wrong".The GPU is a bit Overkill for the games you listed, i would recommend a rx 6700 xt or rx 7600 instead. Also, your SSD is pretty high end, for gaming you wont notice the difference. Good alternatives are the: WD SN770, Crucial P3 Plus or a Kingston NV2. BUT
