Windows 11 KB5086672 rolls out after Microsoft pulls failed March 2026 optional update
I've been having boot loop issues since last weekend. The only thing I can think caused it is the Microsoft update I did earlier that day. The only thing I've found to temporarily give me a usable computer is sfc /scannnow in command prompt when it gives me the recovery options. I fear I'll be spend

You're talking about a drive for storage. If your motherboard will support it, you should get an NVMe SSD. These are much faster than the older drives. The Samsung 970 Evo Plus and the WD SN770 are both good models. If your computer is a little older, you should get a SATA SSD like the Crucial MX500

Msi thin 15
for the thin 15 you'll want a single sided nvme drive since clearance is tight in there. the samsung 980 runs cool and fits perfectly - used that in a similar chassis. western digital sn770 is another solid pick if you want to save a bit. just avoid drives with heatsinks or double sided nand, they w

phn16-71 dead display after windows update? help appreciated!
Off chance this may be your issue as well. Do you have a wd sn770 ssd? Turns out that is my issue. The most recent windows 11 update has some compatibility issues with those ssd's. Still struggling through a solution that doesn't involve benching the SSD but getting there, maybe.

FriendlyELEC CM3588 nvme issues
I had 2 SN770 that died within a week of one another a month or so ago. Of course I became aware of these issues after it happened 🙃 WD replaced the drives thankfully and I won't use them on the board again, so for the time being I don't have a nas, just a board running home assistant. Was there eve

What Gen SSD Does Acer Nitro V15 ANV15-41-R6Y1 RTX 4060 Version Supports?
checked the specs for that model - it supports PCIe 4.0 nvme ssds. i put a wd black sn770 in my v15 and it worked perfectly for dual boot. just make sure you get the 2280 size. the 1tb version gives you plenty of room for both os without breaking the bank.

First pc build, need help.
Your build looks solid for what you want to do! The 5080 with 7800X3D combo will handle those modded games no problem Just heads up - that WD Black model number seems off, maybe you meant SN770 or SN850X? Both are great options for Gen 4. Also the B850 boards might not be out yet depending when you'
