Use a Lenovo PS6 or PS8 SSD in Steam Deck?

these are external SSDs and 80 mm long. only 30mm long SSD fits inside a steam deck. as external ssd these are not optimal as you need to use an USB hub to attach them to the usb C of the steam deck. so it might be cheap, but useless for you. buy a western digital 2230 SN770M in any size you like an

Windows can't finish updating, claims my SSD needs firmware update. WD software claims my SSD is up to date.

This was a huge PITA. I had a WD SN770M with an older unsupported firmware that prevented me from upgrading to Windows 11 24H2: https://support-en.sandisk.com/app/answers/detailweb/a_id/51469 so I had to upgrade the SSD's firmware to 731130WD. But there's a bug with the current Sandisk Dashboard app

Steam Deck OLED vs. ROG Ally X – same price in Norway. What should I choose?
