What's happening at Withings? An open letter to the company
A friend of mine was going to get himself a Scanwatch from Withings. When I saw him again, he decided to get another brand. I asked why and he told me « I don’t want to have to pay a subscription for enjoying all the feature of a watch.» He did not understood, after seeing the subscription being pro

Deep sleep at 70% this week?!
If the data is from a Scanwatch, you can basically ignore it. They are very inaccurate. If it's data from a Withings Sleep Analyser, it's reasonably accurate. I would continue accordingly: If you have the feeling that you have sleep apnoea, get it checked out by a doctor as soon as possible. This us

Liberated by switching... should have done this a while ago.
Very well explained! I can understand that and have already tried out various watches. I started with the ScanWatch from Withings and at some point had the Nova Brilliant for looks and ended up wearing my Apple Watch more and more often, especially for sports or even just longer bike rides or hikes,

Withings - ScanWatch 2 - for $200? or Apple Watch 11?
I agree - I've been a owner of a scanwatch one for a few years now, even though it has a Swimming feature on it, I've now discovered its not waterproof and is no longer working. I contacted Withings and their customer service has been terrible and almost bot-like. They've offered me 30% off their st

Scanwatch2/Nova sleep data
Hey, In my experience, third-party apps that can write data to the Withings app can corrupt the data and reduce its volume. I had a setup with "Health sync" which retrieved my night's data, sent it to "Sante Connect", and "Sante Connect" rewrote it in Withings. Except that "Health sync" takes data a

Charging but not charging…
I returned one ScanWatch 2 and one ScanWatch Light for not charging, while still under warranty, just a few months one after the other. We shouldn't have to go digging for old cables or research some improvised solutions. Technology that doesn't work as intended is useless My HR Sport is still worki

A few TERRIBLE item
Frankly both my Withings ScanWatch Nova and Oura Ring 4 report consistently similar, and low VO2Max scores, and those readings actually dropped when I started walking more regularly (currently walking about 10-15 thousand steps daily, typically at quite a brisk pace). I have no idea what my real VO2

Goodbye my beautiful hybrid Scanwatch 2, I will miss you... But I want DATA! Looking forward to life with my ugly Instinct 2 Solar.
For anyone curious, I had: Three, 3!... Steel Sport HRs Scanwatch 1 that died in water, under warranty Scanwatch 2 I also have the Withings Scale. If I end up liking the Garmin ecosystem, I might convert that too. If I hate the plasticy feel of the Garmin, I might consider coming back. Primary Gripe

Almost no deep sleep
Same. I have used Withings and an Huawei smart watch each night for a few weeks after I noticed this and get very different results. The Huawei watch is more correct. Withings added REM-sleep and if you add both REM and deep sleep together it seems to be more close to the time my Huawei registers fo

Well... BeamO arrived today... first impressions
Frustrating being stuck in the US where useful health data get held back forever. Samsung watches have had blood pressure readings for years but disabled in US. There are Aktiia/Hilo calibration-free wrist straps that have been available in the EU for years that can record blood pressure optically t
