Well, you definitely put words into my mouth there. I never said anything about discounted sale prices, I only talked about the baseline price of games. Maybe it was your router. I never had any issues with my steam link. The controller was a little clunky, but it was a novel effort. These days I use an Xbox controller with the steam link apps.
