I removed my Fitcam X (Dual channel version), replaced it with a triple channel 70mai T800. I did not trust using the Fitcam X as it constantly failed to record — as many others experienced this same issue and posted in various forums.

Rear camera quality will also look bad on live preview on DashCam screen and on viofo app. Play video on laptop or mobile having atleast 2k screen resolution. A little out of your price range but 70mai A810 is really good. I have it on most of my cars. I have a couple of A800s, which are pretty good (and closer to your budget) and a BlackVue 900s and 900x. I just ordered the 70mai T800, it was between that or the VIOFO A329S. Both highly rated.
