This is what will get me to bail on Garmin completely. I have worn both my T-Rex 3 and my Garmin Epix Pro v2 on my ankle for sleep without any significant data fluctuations or loss. This would allow a user to wear the strap on an ankle and let the watch rest at night, further extending battery life.
