Bring laptop or invest in mini tablet?
EDIT — Corrected some wrong info, and gave links to relevant information to "prove" it correct. —————————— Oh boy, I love tech. Don't mind my comment, but tldr; I'd go to the Apple store and see if you can experiment with Lightroom/CapCut to see if it'd work for your use case. Tbh I had very little

ipad air m4 gang!!!
I traded in my iPad mini A17 Pro on Friday night for the new iPad Air. I wasn’t a fan of the smaller size after all and would like to use it as a second working station when I’m on the go instead of pulling out my MacBook Pro. It should be here Wednesday! I’m super excited!

I bought new iPad Mini 7 256 GB for $400
I have the iPad Pro M4 and the iPad mini A17 Pro, both cellular, and basically travel with the mini, read on it, stream music sometimes, etc. It’s a handy little tablet for traveling with.

Size comparison
iPad mini 7: Mainly use to consume all sorts of media - YouTube, Netflix, News Articles, Books. I also use it for journalling, doodling, checking emails, scrolling through photos etc. It's just nice to have a powerful device that you can bring around everywhere. I love it especially for travel if I

Do you have any ipad reccos?
I have the iPad mini 7, which is the second weakest iPad model of all current models when it comes to processing chip, with only the base iPad having a weaker chip. And it runs battles and everything else perfectly on Ultra graphics, so I think any of the current iPad models, between the iPad mini,

Which IPad to play ?
The iPad Mini 7 (A17 Pro) is powerful enough to run Apple’s AI features so if the size doesn’t put you off, it should be a good iPad for you. The hard drive starts at 128GB.

macOS/iOS friendly?
Currently I run the Supernote Partner application for macOS as well as iOS and it allows me to upload and organize from my Apple devices, but there is no app support for any of the apple OS on a SN device. That's actually why I appreciate it so much more. I have my iPhone 16 Pro, M5 MacBook, iPad mi

Goodbye, iPad 7, You served me well🫡.
Just traded mine in for an iPad mini a17 pro chipset. Huge upgrade and a bit more manageable while doing some reading before bed. An absolute powerhouse for streaming entertainment.

Best Tablet for TFT
Redmagic astra: Best gaming tablet atm along a pretty good OLED screen, comes with some useful gaming features along the best Android chipset from last year (Snapdragon 8 elite). 8-9 size which is ideal on tablets for gaming and really lightweight. Astra 2 is supposed to launch soon tho (1-2 months

Least recommendation for iPad for music making
iPads have had Apple Silicon for awhile now -- but only recently have they had the M-line of processors that the Macs have. The A17 Pro chip in the Mini 7 is VERY powerful chip, but still only half the power of an M3: https://browser.geekbench.com/ios_devices/ipad I've been using an old Mini 4 while
