Apple Studio Display XDR White Paper
This is partly the reason why we haven't seen miniLED displays in the monitor space that have rivalled the 2021 Asus PG32UQX. It requires a lot of hardware grunt which G-Sync Ultimate module has to run a good MiniLED dimming algo.

Global OLED Monitor Shipments Surge 65% YoY in 3Q25, Redefining Market Landscape, Says TrendForce
Remember when the definition of a good HDR gaming monitor was the ASUS PG32UQX, which was a 1152-zone MiniLED monitor for $3,000? Those were dark days.

Apple Studio Display XDR White Paper
I mean, the PG32UQX has around 10ms of extra input lag when driving the HDR backlight of a Mini-LED display (compared to having a constant backlight level in SDR mode) while using the Altera Arria 10 FPGA, if the measurements taken by PCMonitors.info are anything to go by. A monitor that features an

ASUS Pulsar XG27AQNGV Review - The Display Guy
What do you mean "similar"? They are not similar, they are not even close. Pulsar is in an entirely different league compared to current OLED. Pulsar at 95fps has better motion clarity than an OLED at 360 fps. The current Pulsar offerings are 360hz. In order for OLED to match the motion clarity of p

4k vs 1440p Oled ?
The main issue with mini LED is the dimming algorithm plays a large part in how how much blooming you will get. Currently you really need a g-sync ultimate chip for the best results. This is why the PG32UQX performs so much better in blooming than the newer BenQ EX321UX. Hopefully the g-sync pulsar

Is the BenQ EX321UX monitor discontinued in EU?
End Of Life for the excellent EX321UX, BenQ have replace it with EX321UZ a QD-OLED panel. High production cost? Difficult LD algorithm, low sales due to Chinese models? OLED madness? I own one, after the V.7 update is excellent, with the Asus PG32UQX (after 2023 model) are the last kings of the real

About to upgrade to a new 5090 pc, looking for good monitor suggestions that aren't OLED/QLED
Asus PG32uqX. Mini Led isnt as pretty as an oled but its still a beautiful monitor. Where mini led really shines are in bright environments. You also dont have to worry about burn-in. I own this monitor as well as a LG 27"4K 240HZ Oled. I dont remember the model number. I typically play all my compe

Next NVIDIA driver will address flickering issues with DP 1.4 monitors
Update : Nvidia finally fixed the annoying situational desktop flickering on ASUS PG32UQX running the latest driver 591.44. They also enabled PhysX 32-bit on many older games. Nice job Nvidia.
