Should I use my 4070 g14 as my main computer?
TLDR; Minimalize (is that a word?), sell desktop, keep laptop, finish up school, and then go back to what you are most comfortable with afterwards! Bro the 4070 mobile GPU is more than capable at handling any type of gaming at high graphics 60+ fps (and 60 is putting it low, you definitely can run m

BSARCH what laptop do you guys use or u recommended?
I'll try my best to simplify this: There are multiple models/generation of whatever brand you're eyeing. Take the Asus TUF lineup, I can 50/50 agree because their older models used to have crappy build quality and heating problems back in the days. Another example is the Asus V16 models, Asus market

Pls help I don't know anything about Laptops pls I genuinely need help
Okay I was in a similar confusion spiral a few months ago, so i think i can help out here. Context: I'm in my final year, I used a macbook m1 pro (8gb|256ssd) for years 1-half of 3rd year. Then switched to ASUS TUF Gaming A14. Now you have two primary requirements: RAM, and laptop's durability. I sw

Best laptop for this game
Smaller laptops will have less cooling. That's the tradeoff you have to decide on for yourself. If gaming is your priority, a larger laptop with more robust cooling will last longer and will perform better than the same specs in a smaller laptop, because your components will throttle down to avoid o

Looking for advice on the 2024 G14 for back to school
32GB of ram isn't going to be much of an improvement for gaming over 16GB in a laptop that has 8GB vram and a high-end cpu that can do garbage collection very fast. Games (or their setting levels) that require more than 16GB ram will require more than 8GB vram as well, so you shouldn't really spend

Why do people still buy ASUS laptops? Serious question.
I got an ASUS TUF A14 because it was listed in a back to school special and my 10-year old MacBook can’t upgrade its OS unless I uninstall office, bless its heart. If it lasts me 2 years it’ll get me through my studies. If it last me 5+ years it’ll have been a good investment for the cheap lil gamin

Used Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 14" (Ryzen 7 7840HS, RTX 4050, 16GB RAM) for €750?
Yeah, the 32GB/4060 combo is tempting, but the cosmetic damage isn't just scratches. There are actual dents on the edges of the lid and one on the left side of the frame, which makes me a bit nervous about how it was treated... The seller mentioned it probably bumped into a wall while being moved be

Best (portable) laptop for college and light gaming?
Budget would be quite helpful, but off the dome I'd say either the Zephyrus G14, or the Asus Tuf A14. If your budged is more limited then I'd take a look at the Asus Zenbook 14. Decent chassis, screen and performance for a laptop with no dGPU. If your gaming is truly limited and your college courses

Got a ROG strix g16. Will it run Solidworks ?
i cant verify the validity of the statement unfortunately as the tuf gaming A14 is my first powerful laptop... but u definitely have more than enough. [in fact, you got more vram than me, so if i feel that my specs are enough for me, its even more so for u :)] for us students, we cant really notice
