AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 392 detailed as a cut-down Ryzen AI Max+ 395 with powerful Radeon 8060S iGPU
And if typical AMD release patterns hold true, only a few, very expensive, SKUs will be available in 2027. I'm not banking on buying a Medusa Halo product that fits my budget until late 2028 at the earliest. Don't sleep on this expanded Strix Halo availability. These should be priced to compete with

AMD Strix Halo & 128 GB RAM in a 13-inch convertible - Asus ProArt PX13 GoPro Edition Review
The Tuf A14 also decidedly is limited to 32GB and no 16 core cpu. They specifically used the 8 core and 12 core cpu paired with 8060S. That tells you they wanted to cut as much non-gaming components as possible to make it more cost effective for gaming. Not having high ram kills the main and really

BSARCH what laptop do you guys use or u recommended?
Not from arki, but got friends who are: Brand is not going to be a concern. What you should be focusing more is the specifications, especially if the laptop in question has discrete graphics. Because that's going to heavily factor your gpu renderings and/or task involving 3D-related shenanigans. Thi

Should I use my 4070 g14 as my main computer?
TLDR; Minimalize (is that a word?), sell desktop, keep laptop, finish up school, and then go back to what you are most comfortable with afterwards! Bro the 4070 mobile GPU is more than capable at handling any type of gaming at high graphics 60+ fps (and 60 is putting it low, you definitely can run m

Need help knowing which model to buy
OP, just want to make another suggestion, I live in a small apartment too for part of the year and my primary gaming device is a 14" laptop. Would a compact gaming laptop not make more sense than a handheld? They can get expensive in a 14" form factor, but something like last years Asus TUF A14 (AMD

BS-Arch MacBook Pro or Gaming Laptop
Gaming laptops are a safer bet because alot of 3D modelling software heavily prefers discrete graphics, aka the graphics card + I'm no arki student, but got friends who are not just in Benilde. Depending on what programs you use, not everything is available in Mac (and they are harder to crack, if y

G14 (2024) vs Tuf A14 (2026)
If battery life is a priority for you, I’d strongly recommend looking at the newer 2026 laptops since they use a much more power-efficient architecture. And if gaming isn’t your main focus, I’d suggest the ASUS TUF Gaming A14. In my opinion, the best option is the 64 GB RAM variant, if it’s availabl

Why gaming laptops look unnecessarily aggressive
One of the reasons i've choosen my asus tuf A14 was because of its looks. I can take it school or anywhere and it doesn't scream 'gaming' (unless you know what tuf means). Plus i can turn off the fans when on light use so not even the sound nor the battery life (8-10 hours) will tell you that it's a
