Is this good?

Solid build. A couple changes but not many. You can get a better monitor than the msi. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/x9Q9db Monitor review: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/asus/vg279qm

What monitor are you using?

2 ASUS TUF Gaming VG279QM. Very nice monitors, I was gonna use my main one at 240Hz but I kind of just got use to 144Hz again. 27 inches is perfect for gaming monitors, anything more is too much real estate. I couldn't recommend 27 enough.

The AOC Q27G4ZMN 240hz QHD 1152 zone Mini-Led monitor is for sale in the US market now

Just tried both the new AOC 280hz 1080p VA (130% SRGB or something) and MSI 280hz one (102% SRGB)) and both have more eye strain the older VA from Samsung (Odyssey G3). I think I saw a review of one of these in Chinese where they measured something like 4% brightness modulation on the backlight. A g...

Best 27 inch 240 hrz 1920x1080 monitor?

Asus VG279QM was always pretty good. It's a bit older now but it was usually priced around $200ish to $300ish in the past. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/JgCFf7/asus-tuf-gaming-vg279qm-270-1920-x-1080-280-hz-monitor-vg279qm This LG as well also looks pretty good. I'll leave reviews of both at the ...

XG27ACDNG Best OSD HDR Preset

Ok. Using sdr in windows, seems great and an easy switch (win+alt+b). Just trying to figure out how it works, so I understand it. Easier to pick my poison after i've read up on it kinda ;) I've had a Asus TUF Gaming VG279QM 1080p 280 Hz IPS which I knew in and out and it's actually really good both ...

Why no reviews in this one?

Also was looking reviews but there is none. I love 27" 1080P. I hate 1440p. 4K I throw up when i see it. I used to play Action Quake 2 and Counter Strike 640x480 and 800x600 back in CRT times. 19" Iyama Vision Master Pro 454. Overclocked to 200Hz with Power Strip. 25 years ago. 1920x1080 27" is way ...

at the end of 2025, How much FPS do people get in CS2?

This depends from your monitor. My newer acer xv240 has a very sharp image even at 800x600 compared to my old asus vg279qm at any 4:3 lol

Why does basically every monitor have a matte display?!

That is not the case at ALL! You are just simping for Apple and their underpowered underperforming products. I have a 1080p Asus VG279 with a gloss finish and a Samsung 1440p G5 Odyssey with a matte finish the latter being 32" and the former being 27". I chose the matte finish for my main to help wi...
