What Mini PC is best for gaming?
Something with the Ryzen 780m or 890m integrated graphics & that has a oculink or USB4/thunderbolt port My vote is the Gmktec k8 plus it has been a little powerhouse for me it plays most games med-high settings 1080p 50-60fps and with the oculink port you can buy a eGPU dock and graphics card down t

Base mac mini m4 worth over minis forum or beelink?
If you live in any part of the Apple ecosystem the Mac Mini M4 is a plus! My granddaughter has a 24GB Mac Mini M4 and lives almost exclusively in the Apple ecosystem (iPhone/iPad/Apple watch/Apple TV/etc). Having said that, she still has a Windows laptop she has to use a couple of times a week for a

Worth buying Chinese mini pc brands vs Dell or Lenovo?
I've been rocking a beelink ser8 for about a year now so not long enough to tell reliability but I haven't had issues. I use it as a home file server, Plex server, and calibre library manager. I hooked up a jbod to add more drives and it's been great.

The best mini pc for gaming
The Asus ROG NUC 970 is great for gaming, but slightly outside that price range unless you can find it on sale. The Beelink SER8 and SER9 are pretty good as well. You can find some good options in this thread

Mini PC vs. Custom Micro ATX Build: Why is the Mini PC so much cheaper?
Let's try to get as close to "Apples-to-Apples" as possible, using a 1-year warranty, dependably sourced Beelink SER8 8845HS as the example. ASRock DeskMini x600 Ryzen 7 8700G 32GB of dual channel CL40 DDR5 5600MT/s 1TB Gen4x4 NVMe SSDs Windows 11 Pro key Here's the build his less than $650, with th

What gives with what appears to be high return rates on Amazon for GMKtec Mini PCs?
Audio interfaces can be finicky with USB. Sometimes you have to get in and adjust latency and bit rate settings and also should point out that an N150 isn't a very powerful processor. You don't say exactly what you were doing soundwise, but if you're playing guitar, the AXE should be doing direct mo

Looking for Mini PC recommendations for casual gaming
red dead 2 isn't gonna play on high settings on anything aside from like a 780m igpu, even the highest end mini pcs aren't 4k gaming machines otherwise people wouldn't spend 2k on a graphics card alone. i'd look for a beelink ser8 on sale, got one with 32gb of ram for $460 on sale and it has handled

Wary about getting my first Beelink Mini PC
We love our beelink ser8 8845 we got 6 months ago. The wife uses it for her side gig, plus I use it for 3d printing and other generic home items. She even games with it. It’s a work horse. Now we did splurge a bit and bought it with 64GB of RAM and 2TB of SSDs.

Best value mini pc
Probably Beelink SER8 8745hs 32Gig specifically. Don't touch the 24Gig config. It's not about the size. It's the memory configuration on the PCB. They're hurting iGPU performance. They are dead silent with great temperature management and uses Crucial exclusively for memory/SSD.
