I am a noob - can I update my own PC?
As far as I can see, the old motherboard requires DDR4 RAM, so you can just reuse it. For gaming performance, the CPU is much less import than the GPU. You could replace the 5700X with the 5600X or 5600 if needed for budget reasons. The NV3 often uses QLC flash, which has low durability and becomes

Consigli su una build per giocare a 1080/1440
The EQ790 uses QLC flash, which has low durability and becomes noticeably slower after a few years. Get a better drive with TLC flash like the Biwin Black Opal NV7400 or WD Blue SN5000.

First PC Build, £1000 budget
The UD90 uses QLC flash, which has low durability and becomes noticeably slower after a few years. A better drive with TLC flash would be, e.g., the FanXiang S500 Pro/S880, Biwin Black Opal NV7400, or Lexar NM1090 PRO.

Experience lightning-fast speeds up to 7,250 MB/s with this purpose-built WD_BLACK NVMe SSD designed for serious gamers. You don't want to miss it!
Please do not use a title that makes you post look like an ad. For gaming (serious or not), the quoted speeds do not matter; see https://youtu.be/gl8wXT8F3W4. The P310 uses QLC flash, which has low durability and becomes noticeably slower after a few years, so I would not recommend it for the OS dri

SSD is Lexar Nm 790 2to good enough for gaming ?
Lexar is a brand of Shenzen Longsys. Gaming performance does not depends on advertized R/W speeds: https://youtu.be/gl8wXT8F3W4. The only characteristic you should care for is the flash type (avoid QLC, get TLC). All these drives are good: PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price Storage Patriot P400

£1000 pc Build - UK
But the NV3 is a drive. Replace it with the FanXians S880, Biwin Black Opal NV7400, or Crucial P510.

DDR4 AM4 build in 2026
It's decent. Only thing I'd change on the parts you aren't reusing is the Nvme. Look for a TLC drive for better performance and longevity. This one is $10 cheaper (if it's actually in stock) - https://it.pcpartpicker.com/product/BmQwrH/biwin-black-opal-nv7400-1-tb-m2-2280-pcie-40-x4-nvme-solid-state

i need advice on this build
The 9600X is faster than the 7700X at a lower price. (Faster cores beat more cores.) An AiO is not necessary. The Fera is quite silent. The TUF motherboard allows PCIe 5.0 on the GPU slot. (Not that it makes much of a difference in practice.) Samsung is overpriced; the NV7400 has the same performanc
