£800 UK PC build for Flight Simulator, Blender & music production
The UD90 uses QLC flash, which has low durability and becomes noticeably slower after a few years. A better drive with TLC flash would be, e.g., the FanXiang S880 or Biwin Black Opal NV7400.

My first ever build - Aiming for 1440P
The Crucial P310 uses QLC flash, which has low durability and becomes noticeably slower after a few years. Gen3 would not make any difference in practice, but if you want a Gen4 drive, at least get a better drive with TLC flash like the Samsung 990 EVO Plus, Biwin Black Opal NV7400, Crucial T500, or

Please check my silence oriented build (>2500€)
You do not need separate thermal paste; the one included with the cooler works fine. I doubt that you will be using any features of the Tomahawk board.
