I got a Bigme b6 and it made me realize how good and high quality my Boox air 5c is
You are comparing apples to oranges. You can't compare a $180 device to a $550 one. The build quality is fine on the b6 it doesn't feel cheap at all, In fact it feels really solid. I don't like how they made rounder corners for comfort but then made all the edges sharp. But that doesn't make it feel

WARNING: Do NOT Buy Onyx BOOX. $500 Note Air5 C turned into a DEAD BRICK in less than a month, and support has completely GHOSTED me.
Their customer service is horrible. If I ever purchase a Boox again, which is unlikely, I'd go through AMZ at least just for the peace of mind.

Best b/w ereader in 2026 with focus only on reading?
I skipped over Boox Go 6 because of all the apps and stuff they have on there. Not my cup of tea, the fewer features the better lol.

Dear Onyx, I’m a user, NOT your software tester! – DO NOT update to the 4.2 firmware.
The problem is that it’s gonna be endless (report the bugs -an update that fixes the bugs comes with new and maybe more serious bugs) This isn’t the first time. The firmware 4.1 ruined my Boox Go 6 and now the Note air 5c with the firmware 4.2. I just want Onyx to make it possible to downgrade the f

Boox Go or Palma
I've done reasearch on it, and honestly, while the Palma is long and narrow, the Go 6 is shorter, but wider. They're both small devices. THIS video compares them. The palmas are significantly higher spec'd, and thus are faster. The Go 6 only has 2gb of ram, so a lot of people say it's sluggish. Go 6

Any tips for Textbooks and Scientific Papers?
Honestly, this is probably not the device for image-heavy PDF files, in my opinion. You may be better served with a larger e-ink device. I have used some of the larger color e-ink devices from Onyx Boox for this purpose. They are not cheap, but provide a much nicer experience.

XTEINK S4 Price and Preorder Details
it's not just battery life, I have an Onyx Boox Go 7 running android and it's so sluggish, sure you can use kindle and kobo apps but it's absolutely not enjoyable, both apps are slow as fuck, glitchy, not optimized. Android is not developed for devices with 500mb ram or even 2GB ram

Gibt es E-Reader die halbwegs flüssig funktionieren?
Schau in die Android e-Tablet rein (Onyx Boox, Bigme, Meebook,), da findest du womöglich was zackigeres.

Any way to fix these awful top bottom white space on Read articles?
Agree entirely. It is shocking, actually how little energy they seemingly put into their native reader. This is the top bottom margin using Koreader on it. With what it gives on the Read extension I might as well just use my 6" Boox Go and it's the exact same page. Irrelevant sidenote, the width of

What does your launcher home screen look like?
I am using inkOS launcher. Olauncher and its derivatives/forks are laggy in my Boox Go 6.
