Fair enough. I've got there Bose SoundLink Mini II which I prefer over the Flex (2nd gen) sound wise (and startup sound wise).

Can you play lossless via Bluetooth with MacBook Air M4?
Btd 700 adapter and bose SoundLink flex gen 2 can do aptx lossless. It's neat. Practically not significantly different than other codecs.

Bose Soundlink Max Battery Drain
I'm having the same problem with my Bose SoundLink Flex (2nd Gen), I bought it on BF discounts so don't want to send it back but I'm really disappointed my 9 year old UE BOOM 2 drains much slower when turned off even though it supports turning on via the app.
