Thanks to this sub just pulled the trigger on the M4 Mac mini. need honest advice on monitor + peripherals before I screw up.
I recently got a mac mini and after researching options decided on a dell P2725qe. The 4k, 100hz and usbc 90w were key factors, and the price is lower than alternatives of the too expensive ultra series.I considered the 1440p option to save money, but there is wide agreement that the 4k ppi is well

The more I read about monitors, the more I'm confused which one to pick
This is an incredibly timely post since I am also looking for a monitor to connect to a new Mac mini. My dilemma is I want to first test it out as a secondary monitor on an old iMac and the iMac only has DisplayPort output. Which is compatible with HDMI input but only at 30 Hz reliably apparently. s

Need Dual Monitors for Digital Marketing (MacBook) — Budget $500/ea — Scared of bad QC/Customer Service
Dell P2425 (24 inch) or Dell P2725 (27 inch) would work fine for general office use. check out the dell site if you need higher than 1080p, i don't know those model numbers by heart. if you put an E at the end of the model number (P2425E) you can get one with a built-in docking station, so you would

What monitors do you use for wfh setup? Looking for recommendations
A general recommendation I have is start with a 27 inch 4K monitor and or if you have experience, get the ultrawide monitor. Generall guidlines are Try for 4K at 27" and above Any lower resolution is better at sizes <24" Should have a USB hub. So you can leave your keyboard and mouse connected to it

Old pc broke i need a new one asap welp
You have a huge budget, especially if reusing your GPU, so you can easily build a really powerful PC for that. Something like: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/4KVxGk would run anything smoothly. If you don't want to spend quite as much and want something that will still work just fine for all your

P2725QE - faded colors on the monitor - how to fix ?
Quite the set up. Not exactly what I was expecting but here goes: https://dl.dell.com/content/manual7363869-dell-pro-27-plus-4k-usb-c-hub-monitor-p2725qe-user-s-guide.pdf?language=en-us On page 65 under the Color sub menu, the default is the low blue light setting. Nothing in that menu would indicat

Mac Mini Monitor Recommendations?
Can't go wrong with a Dell P-series which is called Pro Plus nowadays I think. It may still be labeled as P2725QE. However, worth noting that the previous-gen Ultrasharp is around the same price (U2723QE) --> Note the number/year 23
