What’s the best monitor for programmers in 2026?
For coding specifically, go 27" 4K IPS. The text rendering at that size and resolution is perfect for staring at code all day. Anything smaller than 27" at 4K and you're squinting, anything bigger and you need to sit further back. The Dell S2722QC is the go-to under $500 rec. USB-C with 65W charging

Ok, I have been looking for over a week for what is a good monitor for an m4 and I am even more confused…
Hello, I believe we are on the same use case. I can recommend you the one I recently bought for my MacMini : a Dell S2722QC It’s really « plug and play » through UBS-C and I never thought I had to calibrate it in any ways. Also if you are a student, Dell is on Unidays where you can have a 10% discou

Looking for Stores in Goa (preferably North Goa) to Physically Test Desktop Monitors with My Mac
I can suggest u a monitor. Got macbook air m2. Using dell s2722qc 27 inch 4k monitor. Researched online before buying. Numerous posts about macos having scaling issues with 1080p and 1440p monitors. Mac Mini M4 questions
I have a 2020 Mac Mini M1. Paid extra back then for 16 gb RAM and 512 gb system drive. I’d not want less of either. I don’t do video editing (for which I’d want at least 24gb), but do lots of photo editing in Lightroom, have half dozen browser tabs, mail app, perhaps Acrobat PDF viewer, Messages app

(Another) Monitor thread
I'm really happy with the Dell S2725QC that I just received! It's still so new that there aren't many reviews, but it works great on a Mac. The 120 Hz, the Variable Refresh Rate, the USB-C hub and charging, it doesn't flicker like the past S2722QC edition. Basically everything just worked as intende

I’m so confused
Take a look at the Dell S2722QC monitor. I too have a 2019 5K Retina iMac and this Dell is my second monitor. Honestly, it's almost impossible to tell them apart (I have a hardware color calibrator and both monitors are matched). They are NOT at max resolution because text becomes too small to read.
