Is there a way to disable this timer? Maybe a plugin of some sort or anything like that?

Dell S2722QC which is not a gaming monitor. I need 4k for work purposes, so went with the cheapest option.

M4 delivered today. Best monitor for a $500 budget?

I’m happy with the Dell S2722QC. 4k, USB-C, HDMI, built in USB hub. Autoswitches between input ports, which s great for my 2 CPU setup. Price seems to float between 279 and 315 @ bestbuy.

Any tips on improving it? I can't decide where should I place my macbook so it looks cleaner. I'm a designer and it's always "it ain't enough" :)

It's a Dell S2722QC, perfect budget monitor really - 4K, HDR, 60Hz (can't get more on a budget 4K).

What are the best screens under $400?

I have a Dell S2722QC 27in 4K monitor and it works fine with M4 Mac Mini using an OWC Thunderbolt 4 cable (generic USB-C cable that comes with it might cause flickering issue on Mac so use Thunderbolt spec) They have a newer 2025 version out now which they list as Mac compatible: Dell S2725QC ($350 ...

Ok, I have been looking for over a week for what is a good monitor for an m4 and I am even more confused…

Hello, I believe we are on the same use case. I can recommend you the one I recently bought for my MacMini : a Dell S2722QC It’s really « plug and play » through UBS-C and I never thought I had to calibrate it in any ways. Also if you are a student, Dell is on Unidays where you can have a 10% discou...

Mac mini with a non Mac display?

Yes pretty much any 4K display will work great just run at "half resolution" https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dell-S2722QC-3840x2160-FreeSync-Speakers/dp/B09CGY99X5 Example But if you want to do video as well will need to add a camera https://www.logitech.com/en-gb/discover/c/webcams

Review my Office (productivity) pc build (GPU needed for fusion 360 and cad work)

Can switch to 7600 it will run cooler for not much of a performance difference, invest more in a higher capacity drive, change the monitor to a Dell S2722QC if budget allows... if the rig is not meant gaming and just office work, the 4k display is phenomenal and will fair better for your needs. Addi...

Windows 10 to Mac Mini transition coming soon

Use your existing monitor if you don't want to buy a new one right away -- might have to use BetterDisplay app if text is a little blurry. Otherwise if you want a new one then figure out how much you want to spend -- if you want one in the $300 range then the Dell S2725QC isn't bad ($350 retail but ...
