Monitors with similar mid range response as Barefoot Footprint 02
i don't really know many brands in that price range with the quality of the barefoots. If you are looking specifically at 3-way, I recommend looking into these: HEDD Type 20 A-Core or MK2 (probably better than the Adam 8H) Dynaudio LYD 48 Kali SM-8 And if it doesn't have to be 3-way, that opens up m

Looking to buy new studio monitors
You could stay with Adam and go for A8H, or A77H if you have enough space. Alternatively Dynaudio LYD48 or Barefoot Footprint03. If you’re open to a system with subwoofer, I would recommend Kali IN-8 + Kali WS-6.2. A subwoofer can be very helpful in small rooms, because it adds positioning flexibili

Any Dali fans?
I’ve got some Dynaudio LYD48s and they’re quite literally my favorite purchase I’ve ever made. Had em for 5 years and they still blow me away. Danes for the win!

LYD 48 Desk Stands
I just got these monitors but here are my observation so far: I have another setup consisting of B&W CDM9NTs, and a Minidsp Flex TRS. Comparing both, the B&Ws have a much wider soundstage but it's most likely the LYD 48s are too close too each other. The manual recommends setting them further apart.

I’m Looking For Studio Speakers, Not For Mixing, Just So I Don’t Always Have To Wear Headphones.
This strongly depends on budget. If budget isn't restricted, the best I've heard, even the smaller ones, are from Genelec (stick to 5" or bigger if not using a sub). Keep in mind that anything under 8" for the low end frequencies are going to be very limited on bass output. Dynaudio are really good,

Genelec 8040B vs Barefoot footprint03
You will want to audition first hand, if possible. I did extensive work on 8040 and found that in the nearfield, the drivers sounded separate. I would also consider Dynaudio LYD 48, and I'm even seeing deals on BM15A, for the same price as 8040B.

Upgrading monitors - the sea never parted for me. Did they part for you?
BTW- BM5As were my first monitors around 20 years ago, and they are excellent for what they are. Dynaudio monitors are the most naturalistic sounding of any brand I’ve tried/heard, and that’s one aspect you might miss about them. They’re somehow anti-fatiguing. If I ever went back to Dynaudio, I’d p

Adam T7V or Kali Lp 6 v2 for home studio?
I would argue the opposite. I'd prefer the adams over the Kali LP series (IN is a different thing). Which brings me to my next point. Do you have the chance to order both pairs on Thomann or another retailer, that has a 30 day no questions asked return policy?Monitors are hard to judge, every speake

Studio monitors advise upgrade from Yamaha hs8 to Neumann kh310
I did something similar and went from HS8 to Dynaudio LYD48 (same form factor as the Neumanns you are looking at). I actually preferred the neumanns during a side by side test but they were a little out of my price range. You will not regret it—the midrange on a 3 way monitor like the Neumann and Dy
