I need a recommendation for a new internet router
Eero Pro 7, TP-Link Deco 7 Pro, or Netgear Orbi 870. If you don't mind a little work but a lot of customization would look into unifi.

Q1000K "normal" mode and EERO routers
I’m in bridge mode on Q1000K with Eero 7 pro. I get the exact same speeds. There is an issue on your side. Also Fast.com is totally unreliable and always show me slow speed like 200Mbps instead of 900Mbps. I would test with https://speed.cloudflare.com or https://www.speedtest.net

Setting up Eero as sole router for home
I have Fios but nothing else from Verizon. Had the Orbi RBR40 mesh setup and was in bridge mode from Fios router to Orbi and then to 3 satellites. Metronet WiFi extender?
The Eero I got when we signed up was the Pro 6. So for the second one, I bought the same model on eBay. So if you have a Pro 7 now, search for the same as what they supplied you with.
