I went with the Garmin Dash Cam 47 up front and the Mini2 in the back. I bought the Garmin OBD plug in connector and have had zero issues for the past 5 years.

That's fine. Just ask the right question. The make of your vehicle has absolutely no impact whatsoever on what dash cam you should buy.
