Thinking of switching from Windows to MacBook Pro for .NET dev in 2026

Code signing can be problematic with languages like PHP for example. For the rest, I’d be able to have a similar setup on MacOS and Linux. Windows would be more difficult to handle with the language I use: Ruby along with Rails. For this particular case, docker can help. Mac hardware simply have no

Geekom Sale: A6 vs A5 Pro...not understanding the better value.

Chinese NUC brands like Geekom can be very misleading when it comes to processors and architecture. For example the A5 Pro use a relabeled 5625U using Zen 3 Ryzen technology from 2021. This have been cheaply dumped onto Chinese manufacturing market with some other processors for budget builds. Here

What is a good gaming mini pc to play games like resident evil 9 or Tekken 8? Looking area $500 $700

This isn't the era to find a mini PC to do that in that price range. Tekken 8 runs pretty well on medium settings on my 2024 Geekom A5

Is this pc good?

it's overpriced because of the brand,I'd recommend ask hand mini pc with Ryzen 5800h (way better cpu and igpu) for 289€, although it comes with 1 stick of 16gb but still gets way better performance than geekom a5

Looking to buy a mini-PC and need some help.

Maybe a GEEKOM A5 Mini PC with AMD Ryzen 7 5825U, 16GB RAM&512GB SSD, Windows 11 PRO. They also have a three year warranty. It is a newer model that will last you for more than just two years. It also has the memory card reader on the side. They do have other models too depending on your budget.

Beelink, GMKtec, Geekom, Bosgame, Origimagic, Minisforum, which brand has the best quality?

Ive reviewed multiple different ones, made some content for Geekom and they are really good quality machines with some pretty respectable specifications across the board. The designs are pretty simple aesthetically but they function well! They are however a little more expensive than some of the com

Mac Mini or Windows Mini PC

I own a Geekom A5 (2025) running a Ryzen 5 APU from AMD. It consumes about 5W doing nothing running Linux. 12W on YouTube which is a lot compared to my MacBook Air M1 that consumes about 5W with the display at 5W brightness. Long story short, Apple chips are the best in the market when it comes to p
