You need certain things in a design monitor. Here's what I cared about most. Pixel type: IPS - There are VA and IPS pixel types. VA are more prone to burn in on your screen, and they are horrible for looking at unless you're dead straight on. 4k - really important if you're going for a 32"+ monitor.

The Gigabyte M32U is already really good, so upgrading isn’t about specs anymore. If you want a real upgrade, you’re basically looking at OLED or maybe mini-LED. OLED will give you way better contrast and overall image quality, it’s a noticeable jump. If you stay with IPS, it’ll feel kinda the same
