Check out the GMKtec EVO-T1, picked one up a few months back and have been really liking it, Intel 285H, 64Gb RAM, dual nics, 3 nvme drive bays, and no issue with the different cores playing funny. I’ve also got the Geekom A8 which has the 8945HS chip in which is 8c/16t but this is currently just be

With 30 layers you need a high end device, Intel chips will give you more performances for editing, the cheaper option would be the GMKtec K10 with the 13900HK or you could go for the Evo-T1 with the 285H if you have the budget for it and want top performances.

Strix Halo is just that, a halo product, it's built completely differently and it's designed to go after the Mac Studio type mini-PCs. Whereas an AMD Phoenix or Strix Point mini-PC would only take a crack at the base model Mac Mini. You shared a mini PC running on Krackan Point - it's in between Pho

You're still not smart enough to read after giving you the benefit of the doubt. You're still reading power consumption at the receptacle. The 131.6W for the 100W/80W 285H was a ROG Zephyrus G16 GU605CX with a RTX 5090. The 133.7W for the 80W/80W HX 370 was a ASUS ProArt P16 H7606WP with a RTX 5070.

Best Mini PC for gaming are either Mini PC's with mobile dgpu like Minisforum HX99G/HX100G/G7PT/G7TI, GMKtec EVO-X2, FEVM FN60G, TopTon I9 14900F RTX 4070, Acemagic Tank 03, ASUS ROG NUC 14,15 The other option which is my favorite are Mini PC's with Oculink port for Desktop GPU upgrade, like GMKtec

GPU is where the most Gaming performance is made, Mobile GPU are nowhere near Desktop GPU Performances, in other words you will have better Gaming Performances at a lower cost with a Mini PC + Desktop GPU via NVME M2 or Oculink than a Rog Nuc with a Mobile GPU. CPU is important too, but actual 65 Wa

Had not run into the Evo-T1. That said it looks like the final vesion has no PCIE 5.0, 3x NVMe 4.0 and an occulink aint shabby, but a hair short. Also looks like they went with H series Core 200, not V for the final design. Which actually I prefer but so close. I'd rate this on par with the near mis

Haven't received an EVO-T1 in for inspection, with the 115W MTP Core Ultra 9 285H known for running higher temperatures compared to its AMD equivalents. Reviews have been sparse on the EVO-T1, although this one points out seeing 100°C during testing I have worked on some 285H laptops, yet I haven't
