Google Nest Wifi alternatives

Seems like Google Tech have no answers and there are alot of people with same issues over the last couple years. I think it's time to bat this trash into the sun. It's a shame because they worked well but I'm not going to risk buying the Google Nest Pro and have the same issues.

Thinking of upgrading from Nest to Nest Pro. I'll miss Voice Assistant/speakers. Any additional products I can buy to retain these?

I would then advise against. There is very little practical difference between the nest and nest wifi pro. If you need to squeeze out a few more mb/s of bandwidth with a wifi 6e band then yes otherwise if you really enjoy the Google home assistant integrated devices I would say stick with them

I hope Google Nest Wifi Pro 6e improves

I ordered it almost 2 years ago today, literally as soon as it came out, and i've had nothing but trouble. Most recently I had lots of issues with video calls, gaming (even when wired in). I spent an entire day trying to debug the problem.

Problems:

  1. Poor wireless speed
  2. Huge latency spikes when

Would you buy Google Nest Pro 6e again?

I've been using my Google nest wifi (not Pro) since 2022 and it's been working great. I was planning to upgrade to the Google nest pro 6e during black Friday/winter sales but realized that the new pro 6e nodes didn't have Google assistant speakers. Knowing that I could still use my old nodes ask Goo

Ubiquiti at home - Beginner

I haven’t fully implemented the network yet. I came from a Netgear Orbi mesh (secure) and Google Nest Pro mesh (insecure/IoT) using pfSense. I also have an Eero WiFi 7 that came with the fiber hookup. I removed the Orbi and pfSense and am very happy. This weekend I plan to decommission the Nest mesh

Google Nest Problems?

Over a decade with Google/Nest doorbells, thermometers, displays, mini speakers, max speakers, WiFi Mesh Pro, etc. I’m replacing my entire network and cameras with Ubiquity hardware and everything else with Aqara products. The products used to just work. Now, reliability is terrible. The interface i

Is the Google Nest Wifi Pro decent? It's 53% off on Amazon.

This. I have had nothing but random dropouts and head aches after 4 months of using Google Nest WiFi Pro 6E. They're going into my technology grave yard tomorrow.

Nest wifi pro slow speeds on 1Gig plan

I had the same issue with Nest WiFi Pro (main unit and secondary unit hardwired) on both AT&T Fiber and a local fiber provider. Ethernet would get close to a gig but WiFi rarely broke maybe 500Mbps - and these are supposed to be WiFi 6E devices. Even AT&T’s gateway gives 750Mbps or so over WiFi in t

Hey everyone. I am struggling to get good connection through my home and was hoping anyone had some advice. For context I live in a 1200 sqft 2-bedroom apartment.

I have 1GB plan through google webpass, the fiber runs into the master bedroom where I have connected to a Google Nest WiFi Pro 6E. Tha
