Google Home december update finally makes moving all devices from Nest app a one-tap job

Now help me delete nest wifi router and points that burned in a fire two years ago. And yes I have tried to factory reset 50x to no avail.

Google wifi issues

Had Google WiFi before, spent two days troubleshooting everything under the sun for a similar issue. Pulled the power on the entire mesh and plugged it back in, speed fixed. If you haven't tried that already then do it. Their WiFi equipment is shit and in my experience might inexplicably just glitch

Google Nest Wifi alternatives

I'm pretty sure Google is deliberately enshittifying their old products to force you to upgrade. I had a 2 node nest wifi plus 1 node from the 1st gen google wifi and it worked great for many years. Then in the past 2 years the 2nd nest point (the one with the speaker) started really flaking out on

Google Nest Wifi alternatives

I had purchased mine and gave it 6-months and it was the worst decision/purchase, tech wise, I have made. Luckily, I had a great customer service rep at a box store, and she provided me store credit, and I purchased a different system and have had zero issues since. Almost every post I’ve seen about

Google Nest Wifi alternatives

I'm finally giving up and getting rid of my Google nest wifi. Had it for 4 years. In the last 5 months one, if not both, access points have been going offline/turning off and needing resets. It got to the point I'd reset it every couple hours then have to reboot the entire system. I even got the poi

Did anyone else’s smart devices get really slow after incorporating Gemini?

Yes. A lot. And my Google nest wifi router died. My 3 AP are just smart speakers now as I upgraded router to something better.

The Enshittification of Google Home

Google has always sucked with actual HW products. Anytime they try doing HW and SW, they end up with a crap product eventually. Pixel 4 was the last google phone I had and it was a piece of shit. When they ONLY do SW, then they do OK. I just recently replaced the Google/Nest Wifi router point setup.

Can I cancel my current service and sign up for new one at the same adddress just to get newer free equipment (Nest Pro)?

The nest pros aren’t new at all and currently do not get used. You want to get the wifi6e equipment at least. The google WiFi and nest pros are only used for half-gig and under plans which are on their way out as far as I know

help!

Mine do. I think you're thinking of the newer Nest Points. The older Google Wi-Fi pucks have two as do the slightly newer Nest Routers. I opted to not get the pucks with microphone or speaker. I wasn't too keen on having something "listen" to all my in home conversations. If I want to ask "Hey Googl
