Pixel Watch 4 adds one-handed gestures and enhanced Smart Replies

Aaaand Google continues artificially separating PW2, PW3 and PW4... Announcing X years of software support is a great headline, then omit the part where you should say these updates will arbitrarily include features or not.

I’m tired, boss

It would be helpful to understand what metrics you feel are not accurate. At least on my pw2, they have been quite good. Now the Fitbit app itself is another story but that's typical for Google purchasing another companies software and using it with their hardware. Hopefully the new Google health pl

Google Pixel Watch Question

Pixel Watch 2 stops getting software updates October 2026.. I have used the PW2 and 3 each for a year. I'm currently using the 4. The screen was arguably the biggest improvement on the 3, then maybe battery life, then UWB/connectivity. The 4 feels much more refined compared to the 3. Battery seems t

I can't decide? PW2 & PW3

If you only want a watch to function as a clock then get a regular watch, not a smartwatch. If you are going to get a smartwatch, it's best to get one that will be supported as long as possible within your budget. The Pixel Watch 2 will not be supported after 2026.

Pixel Watch 4 adds one-handed gestures and enhanced Smart Replies

To me, providing good support would mean receiving every new feature as long as it's not hardware dependent. I would also be okay with having some timed exclusivity for the newest one, but for all we know PW2 and PW3 have pretty much identical hardware, I really don't like that they separate the fea

Google Pixel Watch Update - December 2025

Shame on Google with this planned obsolesence. I wish EU did something about this, because they are artificially limiting their producst, which contains almost identical internal specs (PW2, PW3 and PW4). Their multiple year upgrade promise is useless if they cut basic feature updates from a 1 year

3rd party WFs still broken (AoD)... PW4 WearOS 6.0

Some good news for those of us dealing with this issue. It appears Google finally fixed it with the recent Wear OS 6.1 update. Third party watchfaces are finally usable on my PW2! I tried out a few watch faces and the AOD is working as intended. It took a while, but I'm really happy that Google squa

From Amazfit to... what's next?

I've used the Apple Watch Series 8 and Pixel Watch 2, but I currently have an Amazfit GTR 4. I might get a little hate for this, but I really miss Apple's animations, they were buttery smooth, and features like tap to pay were great. However, Amazfit's battery life is just so damn good, and the pric

Help me decide: PW4 or OnePlus watch 3

Pixel! Avoid Oneplus at all costs! Product is good, but service is the worldclass benchmark for worse service ever! I have a OPW2 but it's up for sale and I can't get any offers for ut over 120$ I switched to Pixel, works like a charm and battery is getting me 2-4 days steady. Plus you get support e

While AI can be useful, it’s important to fact check the results.

When I had Assistant, I never needed to worry about my timers. TIMERS. Why can I not trust timers? I had a timer set the other day for 35 minutes while cooking some dinner. I checked on it after the end of a Bleach episode only to find out there is no timer. Ands don't even get me started on the ina
