I personally use a GoPro Hero 10 that was on heavy discount and mout it to a cap, so i get a slightly elevated version of player's eye view. I personally don't like the headband style mounts and i wouldn't wear it on my chest because arms/blasters block your shot. Shoulder mounts may work on your do

DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro Adventure Combo for Malaysia family trip — good choice?
is trip. A few things from experience with family travel footage: The DJI is genuinely easier for kids to handle than a GoPro. The touchscreen is more responsive and the menus are less buried. Your 12 year old will figure it out in 5 minutes. For the 8 year old, set it to 1080p auto-everything and l

Small camera for horse riding
360 cameras have better stabilization than regular ones, but also more expensive and image quality is a bit lower. As of regular cameras, any GoPro Hero 11-13 Black all are a good choice, but not sure if the stabilization will keep up with horse riding. Avoid GoPro Minis at all cost.

I’m a new YouTuber and am trying the running content niche. If there is anyone else here who does the same what camera do you use to good content and how can you keep the camera stable?
Everyone is all about the 360° cameras now but I still use a GoPro Hero 11 for recording my runs. Between the internal stabilization and horizon lock, it makes for very smooth footage.

Best camera for a helmet?
(I'm not the person you asked, but...) One of the problems with helmet cams is that your head moves a LOT more than you might think! From wobbling and wiggling tiny amounts, to the abruptly yanking your head and looking over your shoulder, helmet cams seem to spend a considerable amount of their tim

Stumpjumpin’ on slingshot at ride rock creek
I went Hero 7 > Hero 11 a few years ago, and that was a substantial improvement, but primarily had it chin mounted on a full face. I tried the Chesty mount when wearing a half shell, but even with the straps pulled as tight as they could it flopped around too much, and the GoPro stabilization couldn

Best Action Camera Right Now? Need Recommendations
I’ve been using the DJI Osmo Action 4 and it’s been really solid. Great stabilization, good battery life, and the footage looks clean even on bumpy rides. If you want alternatives, GoPro Hero 12/13 is still strong and the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 is great if you care more about image quality than simplici

I have a cheaper go pro and a gopro knockoff, and I can say one thing - the smoothing on the Go pro is worth the extra money footage-wise. I got the Go Pro Hero from the bezos site and the difference between that and a knock off is just night and day. They have cheap picatinny mounts you can get on

Need help deciding which one should I buy
I’m in a similar spot to you. I’ve owned the Hero 9 Black since it came out. In bright light it’s a great action cam with good stabilization, but it quickly falls flat indoors even with decent lighting. As I mentioned here, for snorkeling the stabilization just isn’t good enough despite my best effo
