I haven’t found a reason TO buy the Rucker or plates, for that matter. $12 close out pack and (2) $1.88 1x8x16 concrete blocks got me 32lbs. I’ll tune in the final weight with a hammer. I’d really like to try rucking. I’d like to know what’s a good starting point.
Pass on it. While it will work well for seasoned ruckers, it won't for rookies. The GORUCK pack for $49 on Amazon is your best bet with a 10-20lb plate to start with. Also just buying a pack doesn't make it easy. Your shoes are a big part of your experience. Put your money into a quality set of shoe
