Please don't buy the GOruck bags

I've been using goruck for months now. Usually I do 30 pounds but have gone up to 45 here and there. I started with a cheap frame ruck. It was alright. I know how to adjust weight in bags to make them comfortable. My father was army for 22 years and taught me how to. But the rucker 4.0 is virtually

Shoulder relief?

I liked the Wild Gym better, but honestly I went back to my Lundhags Dovre 30 with plates or bricks for my daily rucks.I made a post about my thoughts and confusion on GORUCK some time ago. Since then I’ve had the opportunity to actually try the Rucker 4.0. It’s not as bad as I thought, but it’s bas

GoRuck vs Wild Gym vs Other

Unless you’re planning to throw your bag around on the ground and do CrossFit stuff, the GoRuck bags are completely unnecessary. GoRuck focuses on durability over comfort. I just ruck. I don’t do all that crazy stuff so I prefer comfort. Don’t get me wrong, WildGym bags are beasts too, but they are

Bag question

I have a 25 liter GoRuck Rucker 4.0 and it is perfect for me. I’m not a GoRuck diehard or fanatic by any means. No hate or shame on any bag but here is why I like my bag. -I only use it for rucking and exercise. It has room for other things too which I use for a jump rope, a tension band specificall

Beginner Product Advice

Can’t go wrong with a GoRuck 20L Rucker. More versatile than a plate carrier for sure. Overbuilt but you’ll never need to replace it.

GoRuck vs Wild Gym vs Other

I’m just shy of 6’3” and use the 25L Rucker 4.0. I bought it in March 2022 and it looks new minus a scratch from being accidentally dragged on concrete. I bought it with the hip belt and after a couple uses took it off. The pack sits high and tight like another person commented. I have a 25lb plate

[Review] cTactical cT21 Tanker Backpack — A Solid GoRuck Alternative Under $100

Thanks for the review. I have a Rucker 4.0, and it's been so good I was thinking of getting a GoRuck as a travel backpack. Looks like I should just grab this instead. I am also 6'1", thanks for providing measurements!

Somewhat newbie question

I wouldn’t start at 50. Try 5 rucks @20lbs 5@25 5@30 Etc. This will let you get your kit dialed in and your body used to the frequency. The Osprey will work. Just like backpacking the advice is to get the weight high and close to your back. This will take some fiddling with a large pack like yours.

Mystery Ranch 2-Day Assault vs 5.11 Rush 24 for rucking — which would you pick?

I cant comment on the MR, but I have rucked in the 5.11 rush 24 a couple times. Personally, for the 5.11 to feel good, it needs more weight. 25-35 lbs just felt off to me. Maybe it was what I packed, but I felt anything over 35 lbs, say a 45lb ruck, felt most optimal for me using that. My main rucki
