regarding the DJI app for windows.. it was already improved active tracking (almost same as Insta360) the only deal breaker is there is no user replaceable lens... but before the release of insta 360 x5 we dont have that replacable lens just lens protectors... i suggest getting that as the osmo 360

I use my iPad Pro 11” to edit my X4 footage. I use the insta360 app to reframe and edit. Then I export to photos and use LumaFusion to further edit. With the X4 (and I’m sure X5) you can plug the camera directly into the iPad via usb-c and you get to retain the use of your WiFi for internet connecti

I feel like all the limitations we have against insta360 x5 are all software based, because hardware wise it's better than X5 out of the box. So in future updates it will eventually become better than the X5 as well as the editing studio

What do you mean by 360 “VR”? Usually that means 360 3D, and the reference on a budget would be an Insta360 Pro2. But if your budget is under the R5C, forget about the Pro2, too. If you meant “flat” 360, no clue. I’d say Insta360 X5 has the better software and manages better the overheat, DJI Osmo t
